A small, classic standing Fante akua’ba with a beautifully worn honey-brown surface. I’m especially drawn to the profile and the way the legs sit toward the front of the body, leaving the back feeling slightly unbalanced. The subtle asymmetry in the eyebrows adds character, and I like how the squared section between the legs echoes the squared forms on either side of the neck.
