This figure became an unexpected favorite for me, but only after I had it in hand. It feels delicate, though in a very appealing way. The shape of the head is somewhat unusual, and the designs on the back relate closely to other figures I’ve seen that appear to have good age. Two other examples in my collection—BoW-13 and BoW-14—share similar back designs and comparable head shapes.

The expression on this figure photographs especially well, making it easy to capture on camera. Despite its small size, it has a strong presence. I’ve found that I’m often drawn to smaller akua’mma, and this one fits squarely within that group.
