Examples of Hemba Singiti figures with collar bones for reference. Out of the 700+ figures in the African Heritage Documentation & Research Centre database there are only a handful of figures with carved collar bones. There might be more than the figures I have placed on this page below, but it gives you something for reference.
The beards and heads are varied among figures across all Singiti figures, and I’ve read that although the Hemba artist would follow certain accepted canons of representation, each sculpture is highly individualized, with the head, and particularly the face, the source of distinction, rather than the posture or body.
