The extreme delicacy of the surface detail provides a wonderful contrast to the simplicity of the overall form. A
flattened rim extends around the exterior, while the interior metal has been worked from either direction to form a
small raised ridge in the middle. "ELOB", possibly a name added later, has been etched into the lower right hand
side of the piece.
